Tween Club - Candy Sushi
Is there anything more fun than sweet treats masquerading as savoury food? Some of the best baking show episodes involve these culinary, mind-bending challenges. It may look like a hamburger and fries but it’s really a cleverly disguised brownie hiding in a golden cupcake surrounded by pound cake fries. Yum! Since this isn’t actually a baking show let’s look at an alternative to these challenges and create our very own deceivingly sweet meals with candy sushi. Why sushi? Well, this activity is simple, inexpensive and most importantly, enjoyable for the whole family. Last but not least, candy sushi is delicious!
Candy sushi is mock sushi made up of chewy candy and Rice Krispy squares wrapped in fruit roll up. There are a couple different styles:
Maki Sushi
Nigiri Sushi
