Childrens Curriculum Kits

Curriculum kits are bags of library children's materials on specific subjects and activities. All kits follow the Ontario curriculum, are age-specific and can be borrowed up to six weeks.

What will I find in a curriculum kit?

  • Curriculum kits are bags filled with up to 20 items that follow the Ontario curriculum
  • The kit includes items such as flashcards, Playaway Views, DVDs and books

How long do I get to keep a kit for?

  • You can borrow a kit for up to 6 weeks
  • There are no holds or renewals

Are there late fees on the kits?

  • Late kits are charged 10 cents per day per item up to a maximum of $2 per item
  • Replacement fees will apply for any item that is lost or damaged in the kit.

Where can I return a curriculum kit?

  • Kits must be returned to a service desk at either the Main or St. Paul Branch locations. They cannot be returned through the book drop.

How do I book a curriculum kit?

  • Kits are available on a first come first serve basis at the Main Branch.
