Provincial Funding Announcement

On October 22, the provincial government announced $16.2-million in funding for a public school that will also be home to a Brantford Public Library branch and a community centre.

A 2009 Feasibility study completed by the Brantford Public Library recommended opening a library branch in the south west, recognizing the population growth in the area.

Currently, the Brantford Public Library operates two branches in Brantford. One in downtown Brantford and one on St. Paul Avenue. The Library also offers a number of digital services online.
