Explore self-directed activity stations at the Library this March Break. This is a drop-in program. All are welcome.

A Day at the Circus: A Drag Story Adventure

March 14 at 10:30 a.m. at Main

Join us for this original big top production by Big Cityyy Arts! This interactive circus story adventure will be fun and entertaining for the entire family, so don't miss out! This event is presented in partnership with The Bridge and Brantford Pride.

This program is for children. Adults in attendance must be accompanying a participating child. Registration is required.

Registration opens on March 2.

Frozen Party

March 16 at 10:00 a.m. at Main

Calling all Frozen fans! We’re having a Frozen-themed party, and everyone is welcome. Our party will have music, crafts, and fun Frozen-themed activities in celebration of the beloved movies.  This is a drop-in event. 

Olaf Meet & Greet (Three Sessions)

March 16 at 10:00 a.m., 10:30 a.m., and 11:00 a.m.

Our favourite snowman, Olaf, will be joining us for a meet & greet photo opportunity, with three registration time slots: 10:00 a.m., 10:30 a.m., or 11:00 a.m. Meet-and-greet registration opens on March 2nd. Register each child for the requested time slot. Ages 0 - 12 years old.

Gaming for Teens

March 16 at 2:30 p.m. at Main

Drop by the Teen Area, have a snack, and play some games with friends on our Nintendo Switch! Ages 13 – 17. This is a drop-in program.

Bored to Boards: Hang Out, Play Games, Eat Snacks

March 17 at 2:30 p.m. at Main

No school, no plans? We’ve got you. Come hang out with board games, puzzles, and snack boards full of sweet-and-salty treats. Bring friends. Play games. Eat snacks. Repeat. Ages 13 – 17. This is a drop-in program.

Music with Dave Jensen & Friends

March 17 at 2:30 p.m. at Main

Celebrate St. Patrick's Day at our Main Branch with live East Coast music from the band Dave Jensen and Friends. This is a drop-in program.

Bad Art Afternoon for Tweens

March 18 at 2:30 p.m. at Main

Celebrate your mistakes this March Break by making hideous art at the Library! Bring your friends and compete to make the ugliest, most hilarious piece of art you can! Painting, sculpture, jewelry – you decide!

The uglier the art, the better your chance of winning our “Best of the Worst” trophy! All supplies will be provided! Ages 8-12. This is a registered program. Registration opens on March 2.

K-Pop Demon Hunters: Glow Dance Quest

March 19 at 2:30 p.m. at Main

Craft your hunter gear, grab your glow sticks, and light up the dance floor! Ages 8-12. This is a registered program. Registration opens on March 2.

Mario Mania

March 20 at 2:30 p.m. at Main

Level up at the library! Jump into a Mario-themed family program with trivia, games, crafts and activities inspired by everyone’s favourite video game. No gaming skills required—just get ready to press start on a fun time at the library! Trivia starts at 2:30! All ages welcome. This is a drop-in program.
