Cooper, Thomas William

F/O Thomas William Cooper, while training in the R.C.A.F., at No. 4 Wireless School, Burtch, met and married Miss Norma Jellie, 25 Princess St. He was reported missing after air operations over Frankfurt, Germany, on March 18, 1944. He was buried at Hillesheim, 12 ? miles northwest of Worms. The son of Mr. and Mrs. Arnold S. Cooper, Montreal, he had enlisted in the R.C.A.F., in June, 1941, and received his wings at St. Hubert, Que., in April, 1943. On March 7, in the month of his death, he was Mentioned in Dispatches for the notable part he played while participating in a raid on railway yards at Trappes, France.
