Murray, Gordon

Pte. Gordon Murray, whose wife resides at 161 Campbell Street, lost his life at Falaise, Normandy, on August 17, 1944, four weeks from the day he arrived in England from Canada. Enlisting in the Canadian Army on November 4, 1942, he was at Sherbrooke and Halifax for artillery training and was then transferred to the infantry and spent four months at Simcoe and Ipperwash.
