King, Maxwell Jacob

Pte. Maxwell Jacob King, of the Mississaugas of the Credit Reserve, was the son of the late Mr. Frank L. King, Chief Councilor of the Mississaugas for a number of years. Pte. King was lost in the Dieppe raid on August 19, 1942, one of the many brave young men of this district who were sacrificed in that ill-starred battle. Well-known and highly respected in his community, Pte. King is mourned by his mother, and his widow and young son, Maxwell. Pte. King was married in England and his wife and son are now residing on their farm on the Reserve.
