Memberships are free for:
- anyone who lives, operates a business or owns land in Brantford
- anyone studying at a local-based post secondary institution
- Anyone living in County of Brant, Six Nations or Cambridge (proof of membership at local library required for County of Brant and Six Nations residents wishing to join Brantford Public Library)
- Anyone who works within the City of Brantford
