Tween Club - Journal Prompts
Journalling is the process of writing down your thoughts and feelings in order to understand them better. Sometimes dealing with changing emotions can feel like a daunting task, however keeping a journal is the perfect outlet to learn how to express them. Recording your feelings in a journal can help you work through all the times you’ve felt overwhelmed, sad, fearful or mad. It’s also a terrific outlet to share happy thoughts and positivity. Journalling allows you to organize your thoughts so they can later be expressed verbally as well as assist in making a difficult decision. Journalling can improve written communication, spelling and grammar and even reading skills.
Remember to be honest in your entries and set a time daily or weekly to write. Practice consistency and write about what you know. Journalling is an enjoyable and accessible way to discover yourself while forming a positive writing habit. So grab your favourite gel pen and get started!
